In order to get your marriage
or civil union legally certified, you must do the following:
1. Apply for a marriage or
civil union license at a Town Clerk's office.

Note: Although our post
office is in Waterbury, the Moose Meadow Lodge is physically
located in the town of Duxbury. Couples marrying at Moose Meadow
Lodge should contact the Duxbury
Town Clerk. The license costs $30 and is good for 60
days.
2. Contact a Justice of the
Peace, judge or minister if you don't already have one.
3.
Hold the ceremony.
Whether you have
a lavish event with 200 people or an intimate, private ceremony
for two, it's your choice. We will work with you to make your
ceremony truly special.
